Covers employee runs 10K for Cancer Research UK

An employee from Covers in Chichester has completed a Race for Life 10K run in Portsmouth to support Cancer Research UK.

Ivelina Petrov, a Management Accountant at the timber and builders’ merchant’s Chichester Head Office, took on the Race for Life to raise funds for the charity, raising a total so far of £778.00.

The Race for Life event took place on June 30th, and thousands completed the route. Ivelina completed the route in 53 minutes and 37 seconds.

 

Commenting on the challenge, Ivelina said:

“I am happy to say I did it! It was a very inspiring and uplifting day. The atmosphere before, during, and after the race was fantastic. You really feel connected to so many people and part of a community. I want to thank everyone who supported me in the fundraising. Thank you for your support and for your belief in doing good.”
